Lessons begin with a free 30-minute consultation session to discuss your goals, playing level, and general formalities. My open lesson spots are always available here or on the students section of my website which you can click above. Once you've found an open spot that works, you can call, text, email, or fill out this form to schedule this intro session for any open lesson time that I have available. I'm currently offering lessons both in person and online via Zoom or Skype.

Teaching Approaches
While my approaches to teaching certainly vary from one student to another, a few things are consistent.
I'm a big believer in modern approaches to music education that emphasize technology to make learning both more effective and more fun.

My typical daily lesson schedule covers everything from beginner rock/pop songs to advanced blues guitar theory, to classical solo technique and transcription. I'm happy to work with you to find the approach that's most effective, and that can mean rigorous textbook work and studying or a casual fun time learning songs you love. My limitations include advanced jazz & flamenco, styles which I can comfortably teach theory and technique to an intermediate degree.

Location:
Lessons are given in my home studio in Fletcher Hills, near Grossmont High School, or online via Zoom or Skype.
Because this is my personal residence I do not share the address publicly. Instead, I provide it to those who inquire about lessons.
